Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and support daily needs
Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Document care activities and observations in a timely, clear manner
Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure each resident’s comfort and safety

Qualifications

Current/state CNA certification (required)
Comfort working 8-hour shifts
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Ability to follow facility policies and maintain accurate documentation
Comfortable working as part of a team in a long-term care setting

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an approved CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs
Measuring and recording vital signs
Basic infection control and safe patient handling
Clear, professional documentation and communication
Teamwork and collaborative problem solving
