Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Deliver direct patient care to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, oncology and obstetric patients
• Develop and analyze clinical services and programs to ensure the highest quality of care
• Administer and maintain pharmacy policies and procedures in alignment with organizational mission and JCAHO standards
• Serve as Clinic Manager of Operations for designated clinic(s) and provide technical and administrative supervision
• Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff including Advanced Practice Pharmacists, Staff Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians and Billing staff
• Support satellite clinics and ensure consistent pharmacy services across the service area
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-recognized school
• Current, valid and unrestricted license to practice Pharmacy in a U.S. state, territory or the District of Columbia
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of two (2) years' experience as a Registered Pharmacist
• Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Clinical Pharmacist
• Fingerprinting must be submitted and cleared prior to start
• Willingness to work rotational shifts including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays

Education

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) OR Bachelor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited school

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication therapy management and clinical pharmacy best practices
• Pharmacy operations for inpatient and outpatient settings
• Clinic management, policy administration and program development
• Supervising and mentoring pharmacy teams
• Experience with specialty areas such as oncology, OB/GYN, pediatrics, geriatrics and neonatal care
• Familiarity with pharmacy billing and JCAHO quality standards
• Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
