Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients as a trusted CNA
Assist with activities of daily living including hygiene, mobility, and feeding
Observe and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
Support safe patient transfers and maintain fall-prevention measures
Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with caregivers
Create a respectful and comforting environment for patients and families

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
Valid state requirements for CNAs met and verifiable prior to shift
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or obtainable quickly
Demonstrated experience in patient care or a clinical setting a plus
Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass required health screenings
Strong communication, empathy, and team collaboration skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; completed CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing care procedures and infection control
Comfortable with patient transfers, ambulation assistance, and mobility aids
Accurate vital signs measurement and documentation
Familiarity with electronic or paper charting best practices
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting
Customer-service mindset when interacting with patients and families
