Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care for patients across the lifespan
• Rapidly triage and assess patients to prioritize treatment and resources
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document all care accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Perform critical interventions in urgent and high-acuity situations with calm and confidence
• Support unit staffing by floating to other areas as needed during your block schedule

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (California licensure recommended)
• MAB certification required at time of submittal
• Experience in Emergency Room (ER) nursing or acute care settings
• Ability to work block schedules and float to other units as needed
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Education

• Active RN licensure required; ADN or BSN in Nursing preferred

• Emergency triage and rapid assessment
• High-acuity patient care and stabilization
• Effective clinical documentation and communication
• Team collaboration in a fast-paced ED environment
• Patient safety, infection control, and basic emergency procedures
