Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist and support cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency
• Perform thorough pre-, intra-, and post-procedure patient assessments and monitoring
• Maintain sterile technique and instrument readiness in the cath lab environment
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality cardiac care
• Respond to on-call activations promptly and professionally when scheduled
• Complete required competency testing and documentation according to Trinity standards

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure (state license verification required)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Cath lab experience and comfort working in high-acuity cardiac procedure settings
• Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and specialty-specific competency testing
• Up-to-date occupational health requirements: COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, 2-step PPD or IGRA, Varicella, fit test, physical/health statement
• Ability to pass Trinity 10-panel drug screen and color vision screening
• Willingness to participate in scheduled on-call and weekend on-call rotations

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and cath lab workflows
• Proficiency in patient monitoring, hemodynamic assessment, and telemetry interpretation
• Excellent sterile technique and infection prevention practices
• Comfortable with rapid assessment and critical thinking in procedural settings
• Clear communication and teamwork skills for fast-paced intraprocedural care
• Familiarity with Trinity specialty competency processes and documentation

This is a long-term contract in Grove City, just south of Columbus.
