Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform routine and special clinical laboratory assays across all sections as a true generalist
• Operate, calibrate, and perform preventive checks on laboratory instruments
• Evaluate the validity of laboratory data and independently validate results prior to reporting
• Maintain rigorous quality control and documentation for all testing processes
• Communicate results and testing issues clearly with physicians, pathologists, and nursing staff
• Handle and process patient specimens with attention to chain of custody and proper labeling
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in lab workflows and testing accuracy

Qualifications

• ASCP Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) certification required
• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology required
• Experience with EPIC preferred
• Experience with Vitros, Unity, and WellSky preferred
• ASCP specialty certifications are a plus
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
• Must be healthy enough to safely function at high elevation (around 8,000 feet)
• Not accepting any RTO; please confirm availability and fit for this assignment

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology
