Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to assigned patients during the 12-hour day shift
Assess patient condition and collaborate with the care team to implement effective care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Document patient care, observations, and interventions with clarity and timeliness
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support positive outcomes
Assist with patient education and discharge planning to promote continuity of care

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred or willing to obtain
Per diem flexibility and the ability to commit to scheduled shifts
Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
Professional communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid medical-surgical nursing knowledge
Patient assessment and monitoring
Medication administration and documentation best practices
Ability to work independently and escalate concerns appropriately
Comfortable using electronic health records
