Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Support nursing staff by taking vital signs and reporting changes in patient condition
• Assist with safe patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team to promote positive outcomes

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (California) or proof of eligible certification
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Reliable transportation and ability to work on-site as scheduled

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an accredited CNA program required

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic patient care and infection control practices
• Safe lifting and transfer techniques
• Accurate vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
• Clear documentation and charting skills
• Time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
