Shift Type: 4-hour shifts (no break), days as scheduled, RT

Candidate Pay Rate: $41 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate respiratory care to pediatric patients, helping them breathe easier
Perform respiratory assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the care team
Administer and manage respiratory treatments and therapies, including airway management
Operate and troubleshoot ventilators and respiratory equipment safely and effectively
Document all patient care accurately in the medical record and communicate changes in condition
Participate in orientation and training to support a smooth onboarding for new teammates

Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Ohio or eligibility to obtain state licensure
CRT or RRT credential (preferred) and pediatric experience is a plus
Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary pediatric care team

Education

Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management and weaning strategies
Airway management and neonatal/pediatric respiratory care
Familiarity with respiratory equipment and monitoring devices
Ability to perform patient assessments and document care in EMR systems
Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and patient-centered communication skills
