Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and monitor patient status
Administer medications and treatments as directed and document accurately
Perform routine assessments and communicate changes to the care team
Assist with admissions, discharges and transitions of care
Maintain accurate, timely charting in the patient record
Collaborate with nurses, physicians and interdisciplinary staff to deliver safe care
Support a positive patient experience through respectful communication and bedside manner

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Pennsylvania (or compact/state equivalent as applicable)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification — current or willing to obtain
Previous experience as an LPN preferred; new grads may be considered depending on facility needs
Able to pass required background checks and health screenings
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively on a care team

Education

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and basic charting best practices
Patient assessment fundamentals and vital sign monitoring
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and documentation
Infection control, safety protocols and standard precautions
Time management, prioritization and teamwork in a clinical setting
Professional bedside manner and patient-centered communication
