Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to residents by assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
Take and record vital signs and report any changes in condition to the nursing team
Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Document care accurately and promptly in resident charts to ensure continuity
Collaborate with nurses and other team members to support individualized care plans

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
Comfortable assisting with personal care and basic patient needs
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Ability to follow care plans and document observations clearly
Previous experience in long-term care or similar settings is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED (required); CNA certification completed

Knowledge & Skills

Patient hygiene and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Taking and recording vital signs
Infection control and safe patient handling basics
Basic medical terminology and charting
Empathy, patience, and strong observation skills
