Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care including bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility assistance
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff to ensure timely interventions
Assist with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided and observations
Support a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents and visitors
Collaborate with nurses, therapists and family members to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — Pennsylvania certification preferred
Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain if required
Comfortable working an 8-hour shift and performing physical aspects of resident care
Ability to pass background check, drug screen and facility onboarding requirements
Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an approved CNA training program required

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care fundamentals and safe transfer techniques
Basic vital signs measurement and reporting
Charting and documentation best practices
Infection control, hand hygiene and standard precautions
Empathy, patience and excellent interpersonal skills
