Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any significant changes promptly
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and safe use of medical equipment
• Maintain patient dignity and comfort while supporting basic hygiene and feeding needs
• Communicate clearly with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
• Document care delivered accurately and in a timely manner according to facility policies
• Support infection prevention practices and maintain a clean, safe environment

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (Georgia preferred)
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
• Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts as scheduled on a per diem basis
• Willingness to complete facility-required background check and health screening
• Professional, dependable, and able to collaborate effectively with clinical teams
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Education

• Completion of a state-approved CNA program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care skills and ability to assist with ADLs
• Competence in taking and documenting vital signs
• Basic infection control and safety practices
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Teamwork and ability to follow care plans and clinical instructions
• Basic familiarity with electronic medical records or charting
