Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients during shifts
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility) with dignity
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
• Document care accurately and maintain clear communication with the care team
• Support a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols
• Participate actively in orientation and training to learn facility-specific procedures
• Collaborate with nurses and support staff to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — required
• Active CNA listing or license for the state of Georgia preferred
• Willingness to attend orientation on April 14, 2026
• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude
• Previous experience in long-term care or acute care is a plus
• Basic computer or electronic charting skills beneficial

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of infection control and basic safety procedures
• Ability to assist with ADLs and safe patient transfers
• Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs and basic observations
• Good time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
• Teamwork-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
