Roles & Responsibilities

Provide hands-on patient care and assist with activities of daily living with compassion and professionalism
Monitor and record vital signs, observing for changes and communicating concerns to the care team
Support safe patient transfers, mobility, and positioning while following facility protocols
Maintain a clean and safe patient environment, adhering to infection control and safety standards
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated, high-quality care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification; GA certification preferred
Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts and able to commit to assignment scheduling
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients, families, and team members
Reliable, professional presence with a patient-first mindset
Willingness to complete facility-required onboarding and compliance checks

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care fundamentals and safe basic nursing practices
Assistance with ADLs (bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting)
Basic vital sign measurement and documentation
Infection prevention and standard precautions
Teamwork, clear communication, and situational awareness in a fast-paced clinical setting
