Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM (day shift), 3 shifts per week, includes weekends (4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule)

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage ventilated and non-invasive ventilation patients with confidence and clinical skill
- Perform arterial blood gas collection and interpret results to guide care
- Deliver breathing treatments and monitor patient response closely
- Document patient assessments, interventions and ventilator settings in EPIC accurately and promptly
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses and multidisciplinary teams to develop and adjust respiratory care plans
- Troubleshoot respiratory equipment and ensure ventilators, BiPAP and CPAP devices are safe and functioning
- Educate patients and families about respiratory therapies and equipment use
- Step into ICU, PCU, ED and medical floors as needed and provide reliable coverage
Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
- Current ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications required
- NRP and NICU experience preferred, especially for deliveries and neonatal ventilator management
- Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
- Comfortable with ventilator management, BiPAP/CPAP and arterial blood gas procedures
- Experience with EPIC or similar EMR preferred
- Able to work 12-hour shifts and participate in weekend rotation
Knowledge & Skills
- Ventilator management and titration
- Non-invasive ventilation (BiPAP/CPAP) setup and monitoring
- Arterial blood gas (ABG) collection and interpretation
- Delivering and titrating breathing treatments
- Familiarity with EPIC documentation
- ICU, PCU and ED respiratory care workflows
- Equipment troubleshooting and infection control practices
- Strong teamwork, communication and patient education abilities
