Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures with precision and care
• Execute angiography and peripheral angioplasty (with or without stent placement) supporting the interventional team
• Assist with venography and pacemaker insertions, ensuring patient safety and sterile technique
• Support a variety of non-vascular interventional procedures across inpatient and one-day outpatient settings
• Monitor hemodynamics and patient status throughout procedures and communicate changes promptly
• Document procedures and patient information accurately using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to deliver coordinated, high-quality cardiovascular care

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience (required)
• ARRT certification (or RCIS accepted) — documentation required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (required)
• Cardiac experience preferred; IR (interventional radiology) experience a plus
• Comfortable using Cerner EMR and documenting procedural details
• Strong teamwork, communication, and patient-centered approach

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiac catheterization techniques and procedural workflow
• Angiography and peripheral angioplasty principles
• Venography and pacemaker insertion procedures
• Non-vascular interventional procedure support
• Proficient with Cerner electronic medical record
• Aseptic technique, patient monitoring, and hemodynamic assessment
• Ability to respond calmly in acute situations and communicate effectively with clinical team
