Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents as a trusted CNA
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nurse in charge
- Support the care team by following care plans and documenting resident observations
- Help create a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents
- Communicate respectfully with residents, families and team members to enhance resident wellbeing
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (Pennsylvania or eligible for reciprocity)
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening as required by facility
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Reliable, punctual, and able to pass background and health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Familiarity with basic nursing techniques and infection control practices
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and safe resident transfers
- Accurate charting and attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a fast-paced care team
- Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
