Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night shift, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (overnight); exact days scheduled by facility
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
- Provide compassionate bedside care and emotional support to patients and families
- Maintain accurate documentation in patient charts and electronic records
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
- Help with safe patient transfers and positioning to promote comfort and prevent injury
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New Mexico
- Active CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
- Previous CNA experience preferred but enthusiastic new CNAs are welcome
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Current CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic clinical tasks
- Able to take and record vital signs reliably
- Familiarity with proper infection control and safety practices
- Good documentation skills and basic computer/EMR navigation
- Team player with strong observational skills and attention to detail
