Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in patient condition promptly
• Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect patients and staff
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
• Promote a clean, safe, and respectful environment for patients and families

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Valid work authorization and ability to pass background and health screenings
• Comfortable working in a rehab/long-term care setting; prior CNA experience preferred
• Strong communication, compassion, and teamwork skills

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Foundational patient care techniques and ADL assistance
• Basic vital sign measurement and documentation
• Infection control and safe patient handling practices
• Clear communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
