Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming) with dignity and respect
• Support safe mobility and transfers to reduce fall risk and promote independence
• Monitor patient condition and promptly report changes to the nursing team
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record to ensure continuity
• Provide compassionate bedside support and build rapport with patients and families
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to provide proof of required immunizations and pass background checks
• Comfort with patient transfers and basic mobility assistance
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; a positive, patient-centered attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of an approved CNA program and current state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Basic vital signs and observation of clinical changes
• Safe transfer and lifting techniques
• Clear documentation and effective handoff communication
• Infection control practices and OSHA safety awareness
• Empathy, patience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting
