Shift Type: Night shift, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM; specific days not specified (overnight, 12.5-hour rotation)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care for patients, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and patient observations accurately
- Support safe transfers, mobility, and fall prevention under nurse direction
- Communicate changes in patient condition clearly to the nursing team and chart thoroughly
- Assist with meal service and personal care while promoting patient dignity and comfort
- Follow infection control policies and maintain a clean, safe care environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to support patient-centered care plans
Qualifications
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
- Current state authorization to practice as a CNA in New Mexico or ability to obtain it
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable with overnight/overnight-into-morning schedules and clinical tasks
- Able to pass background check and drug screen as required by the facility
- Strong communication skills and a positive, patient-first attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient care fundamentals and safe transfer techniques
- Taking and recording vital signs accurately
- Familiarity with charting and basic electronic documentation
- Infection prevention best practices and proper PPE use
- Teamwork, time management, and the ability to prioritize patient needs
- Compassionate bedside manner and respect for patient dignity
