Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing and toileting
• Take and record vital signs, monitor patients and promptly report changes to the nursing team
• Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility to promote comfort and independence
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care delivered
• Support a positive patient experience by communicating warmly and collaborating with the care team

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• Active enrollment on the New Mexico CNA registry preferred or required according to state rules
• Basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or available upon hire
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented attitude; new grads and experienced CNAs encouraged to apply

Education

• Completion of an accredited CNA training program
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable with ADLs and basic patient care tasks
• Proficient in taking and documenting vital signs
• Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Time management and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
