Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding) while preserving patient dignity
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and changes in condition accurately
- Document care in the electronic medical record promptly and clearly
- Support safe transfers, ambulation, and use of mobility aids
- Collaborate with nurses and the interdisciplinary team to execute care plans
- Maintain infection control standards and a clean, safe environment for patients
- Communicate respectfully with patients, families, and staff to promote positive outcomes
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (required)
- Valid state CNA license or ability to obtain New Mexico authorization as needed
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or must obtain upon hire
- Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
- Comfort and experience working overnight shifts and in fast-paced care environments
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completed CNA training program and active CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient care fundamentals and safe patient handling
- Vital sign collection and basic clinical observation
- ADL assistance and personal care techniques
- Basic charting and documentation best practices
- Infection prevention and safety protocols
- Team communication and time management during overnight shifts
