Shift Type: Schedule varies, Night shift, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (overnight)

Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to promote patient safety and comfort
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing team and document thoroughly
- Support infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification as required by New Mexico
- Willingness to complete facility onboarding, background check, and drug screen
- Hands-on patient care experience is a plus; eager, compassionate caregivers welcome
- Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Current CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and personal care
- Basic vital sign assessment and patient observation skills
- Strong verbal communication and teamwork
- Attention to detail for accurate charting and documentation
- Commitment to infection control and patient safety practices
- Ability to manage physical tasks such as transfers and patient handling
