Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Shift Type: Schedule to be determined, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM (day shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living to promote patient comfort and dignity
- Assist patients with bathing, dressing, toileting, ambulation and feeding as needed
- Take and record vital signs, reporting any changes in condition to the nursing team promptly
- Support safe transfers and mobility, following proper body mechanics and lift protocols
- Document patient interactions and care accurately in the chart to ensure continuity
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent, person-centered care
- Maintain a clean, safe and respectful environment for patients and their families
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New Mexico or eligibility to obtain one
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program
- Basic life support (BLS/CPR) preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and assisting with physical patient needs
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited CNA program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic nursing care and procedures for adult patients
- Skilled in taking and recording vital signs accurately
- Familiarity with assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Basic charting/documentation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow care plans and report changes in patient condition
- Compassionate bedside manner and effective interpersonal skills
