Shift Type: Saturday-Monday, 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Day shift (3x12s). Includes 2 call shifts per month and 1 call weekend per contract; must work holidays that fall on scheduled work days. Morning portable rounds typically included (approx. 10-12 patients).

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform surgical radiography in the operating room with precision and confidence
- Operate portable radiography equipment for morning rounds and intraoperative needs (usually 10-12 patients)
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative staff to produce high-quality imaging
- Ensure patient safety and infection control during all imaging procedures, including proper PPE and fit-tested respirators
- Maintain accurate imaging records, labeling, and documentation for compliance
- Participate in required skills verification such as the Trinity Skills Checklist and required testing
- Cover assigned on-call shifts and respond professionally to urgent imaging needs
- Support department licensing and credential verification processes
Qualifications
- ARRT certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- State radiologic technologist license or readiness for license/certificate verification
- Strong experience and comfort with surgical radiography and portable radiography
- Ability to manage morning portable volumes and perform intraoperative imaging efficiently
- Willingness to work scheduled holidays and participate in on-call rotations
- Successful completion of required health screenings: fit test, drug screen, color vision, and immunizations
Education
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program (Associate of Science in Radiologic Technology preferred) or equivalent training
Knowledge & Skills
- Surgical radiography techniques and intraoperative imaging workflow
- Portable radiography operations and safe patient handling
- Radiation safety and ALARA principles
- Proficient patient positioning and image quality optimization
- Familiarity with Trinity Skills Checklist and departmental competency processes
- Infection control practices and PPE use in surgical settings
- Basic troubleshooting of radiography equipment
