Shift Type: 4 days/week (variable days), variable start between 6:00 AM - 8:00 AM, 10-hour day shifts (e.g., 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM) - day shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields and OR setups for orthopedic and robotic-assisted procedures
- Assist surgeons during orthopedic and robotic cases by passing instruments, handling specimens, and managing equipment
- Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain robotic surgical systems and specialty instrumentation
- Ensure patient safety by following strict infection control and sterile technique protocols
- Perform accurate instrument counts and document perioperative details promptly and thoroughly
- Complete required Trinity skills checklists and specialty competency testing to demonstrate readiness
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) — required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) — required
- License/certification verification as applicable
- Experience in orthopedic surgery and robotic-assisted OR cases preferred
- Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
- Up-to-date immunizations and health screenings: COVID-19 vaccine, Tdap, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, Varicella, 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot), fit test, physical/health statement, and 10-panel drug screen
Education
- Completion of an accredited surgical technology program preferred; CST certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of OR sterile technique and orthopedic instrumentation
- Familiarity with robotic surgical systems and robotic workflow
- Ability to anticipate surgeon needs and perform under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork in the perioperative environment
- Attention to detail for accurate counts, documentation, and equipment checks
