Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing team promptly
• Support safe and respectful mobility assistance and transfers for residents
• Collaborate with nurses and care team to follow care plans and ensure continuity
• Maintain accurate documentation and charting to keep resident records up to date
• Practice infection control and safety procedures to protect residents and staff

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential — required
• T-CNA credential accepted (as listed in the posting)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and provide dependable, patient-centered care
• Clear background check and required immunizations as per facility policy

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an approved CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in ADLs (bathing, grooming, feeding) and mobility assistance
• Proficient in taking and documenting vital signs and basic observations
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for working with interdisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of infection prevention, resident safety, and patient dignity practices
• Comfortable with charting and following established care plans
