Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Day shift, 30-minute meal)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $24 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare and accurately dispense medications under pharmacist supervision
- Process prescriptions and assist with Rx verification and labeling
- Maintain organized inventory and perform regular stock counts
- Collaborate with pharmacists and clinical staff to support safe medication use
- Deliver friendly, clear communication to patients and care teams — Spanish speakers will be highly valued
- Document activities and maintain compliance with policies and regulations
- Support efficient workflow to help the pharmacy meet timeliness and safety goals
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required
- Active certification or credential consistent with CPhT classification
- Spanish-speaking preferred (not required) — bilingual skills are a strong plus
- Reliable, professional attitude with strong attention to detail
- Willingness to complete facility onboarding and any required background screenings
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential
Knowledge & Skills
- Prescription processing and medication labeling best practices
- Inventory control and stock rotation
- Basic dosing calculations and attention to accuracy
- Familiarity with pharmacy dispensing systems and electronic records
- Strong customer service and clear verbal communication
- Understanding of privacy (HIPAA) and medication safety principles
