Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct, hands-on patient care with compassion and attention to dignity
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
- Support safe transfers and fall prevention measures to protect residents
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow infection prevention guidelines
- Communicate clearly with nurses, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Document care in the charting system accurately and in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (CNA or T-CNA) required
- Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
- Comfort working 12+ hour night shifts and the physical demands of resident care
- Previous long-term care or rehabilitation experience is a plus but not required
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completed state-approved CNA program and current CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient care and bedside skills tailored to long-term care and rehab
- Proficient with taking and documenting vital signs and basic assessments
- Knowledge of infection control, safe transfer techniques, and fall prevention
- Good communication and teamwork skills for a multidisciplinary care environment
- Ability to follow care plans and report changes in resident condition promptly
