Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Monitor and report vital signs and any changes in resident condition to the nursing team
- Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect residents and yourself
- Document care activities accurately and timely in the facility charting system
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents and families
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) required
- T-CNA certification listed as a primary skill is a plus
- Ability to work overnight shifts and provide dependable coverage
- Willingness to complete facility onboarding: background check and immunizations as required
- Available to start within 2 weeks (ASAP starts noted) and commit to the 8-week assignment
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Practical patient care skills: bathing, feeding, toileting, ambulation
- Vital signs collection and basic clinical observations
- Strong communication and teamwork with nurses and facility staff
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Infection control practices and resident safety awareness
- Compassion, patience, and the ability to work independently overnight
