Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents as a Certified Nursing Assistant
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Monitor and report vital signs and any changes in resident condition to the nursing team
• Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect residents and yourself
• Document care activities accurately and timely in the facility charting system
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents and families

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) required
• T-CNA certification listed as a primary skill is a plus
• Ability to work overnight shifts and provide dependable coverage
• Willingness to complete facility onboarding: background check and immunizations as required
• Available to start within 2 weeks (ASAP starts noted) and commit to the 8-week assignment

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Practical patient care skills: bathing, feeding, toileting, ambulation
• Vital signs collection and basic clinical observations
• Strong communication and teamwork with nurses and facility staff
• Basic charting and documentation skills
• Infection control practices and resident safety awareness
• Compassion, patience, and the ability to work independently overnight
