Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Monitor and document patient condition, reporting changes promptly to the nursing team
• Provide compassionate bedside care while maintaining patient dignity and comfort
• Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to reduce risk of injury
• Help with meal assistance and ensure accurate intake/output documentation
• Collaborate with nurses and other care team members to deliver coordinated patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — T-CNA experience is a plus
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred
• Experience working in long-term care, rehabilitation, or acute care settings is helpful
• Ability to pass facility onboarding checks including background and drug screen
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completed state-approved CNA training program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of patient safety, infection control, and basic nursing procedures
• Comfortable with electronic charting and accurate documentation
• Skilled in safe patient handling and mobility assistance
• Good time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
• Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and observation skills
