Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes to nursing staff promptly
• Assist with safe transfers, mobility support, and fall prevention
• Support bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and other personal care needs with dignity
• Collaborate with the care team to implement individualized care plans
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
• Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through clear communication and empathy

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Valid CNA authorization for New Mexico or ability to obtain prior to start
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable working overnight 12.5-hour shifts and flexible to work all scheduled days
• Strong communication, observation, and teamwork skills
• Willingness to pass standard background checks and required health screenings

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and safe transfer techniques
• Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observations
• Accurate documentation and charting practices
• Infection prevention and standard precautions
• Time management in a fast-paced care setting
• Compassionate communication with residents and families
