Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Perform safe transfers and mobility assistance while promoting patient dignity
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
• Assist with meal service and feeding, respecting dietary needs and preferences
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and vital observations
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment to enhance resident quality of life

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in the state of practice or eligibility to obtain one
• T-CNA certification as listed in the job posting where required
• CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Ability to pass facility background checks and health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude
• Travel CNA experience is a plus but not required

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completed CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in ADLs, bathing, grooming, and toileting assistance
• Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling
• Comfortable with routine documentation and charting
• Ability to work collaboratively with nurses and interdisciplinary teams
• Time management and prioritization during busy shift periods
