Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility
- Support nursing staff by taking vital signs, reporting changes, and documenting care accurately
- Assist with safe transfers and positioning to promote comfort and prevent injury
- Communicate clearly with the care team and families to ensure coordinated, person-centered care
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control best practices
- Contribute to a positive resident experience by delivering respectful, dignified care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (T-CNA or state equivalent)
- Able to work the assigned schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
- Comfortable with 12+ hour clinical shifts and a 10-week travel assignment
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, resident-focused approach
- Willingness to complete facility onboarding, background check, and drug screen as required
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in resident care and activities of daily living
- Knowledge of basic vital sign measurement and documentation
- Familiarity with infection prevention and safe patient handling
- Good communication, teamwork, and time-management skills
- Ability to follow care plans and report clinical changes promptly
