Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with daily living activities
- Monitor and document resident conditions accurately and communicate changes to the care team
- Assist with meal service, mobility, bathing, grooming, and toileting while promoting independence
- Support infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
- Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families, delivering person-centered care
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (CNA or T-CNA credentials accepted)
- Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts and meeting a 36-hour weekly guarantee
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Ability to pass background checks, drug screens, and meet facility immunization requirements
- Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-first mindset
- Available to start ASAP (within 2 weeks) as noted in the order
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited CNA program
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in personal care, transfers, and safe patient handling
- Knowledgeable about charting and basic documentation practices
- Familiar with infection control and standard precautions
- Strong observational skills to recognize changes in resident condition
- Team communication and time management to keep shifts running smoothly
