Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients thoroughly and use nursing diagnosis to create individualized care plans
• Develop and implement total nursing care across the lifespan — infants to geriatrics
• Provide hands-on, high-quality patient care and ensure continuity throughout the patient stay
• Lead and collaborate with ancillary nursing and multidisciplinary team members to maintain professional standards
• Design and help implement systems to manage population-based care effectively
• Document clear, timely nursing notes and communicate changes in patient status to the team
• Serve as a patient advocate, educating patients and families to promote recovery and wellbeing

Qualifications

• Active Oklahoma RN license required (Compact allowed) — must be active at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years Medical-Surgical nursing experience (required)
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• NIH / NIHSS certification required
• Clean, recent work history and current permanent address information for submission
• Willingness to follow facility policies (including non-compete and local placement guidelines)

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and clinical judgment across all age groups
• Formulating nursing diagnoses and individualized care plans
• Development and implementation of patient care plans and total nursing care
• Experience caring for infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics
• Leadership and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Building and supporting population-based care systems
