Location: Bowie, MD
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Days: not specified, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day shift, per diem)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $16 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living with compassion and respect
- Support the care team by performing bedside care and monitoring resident comfort
- Communicate observations about resident status to nursing staff accurately and promptly
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and dignified environment for residents
- Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through attentive care
Qualifications
- Active GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification
- Comfortable working day shift hours (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
- Experience or interest in long-term care/geriatrics is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic resident care and assistance with ADLs
- Comfortable observing and reporting changes in resident condition
- Team-oriented approach and good communication with nursing staff
- Familiarity with infection control and safe patient handling best practices
