Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Support residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting in a respectful manner
Take and record vital signs, observing and reporting any changes to the nursing team
Assist with safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively during shift handoffs
Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Collaborate with nurses and other care staff to deliver high-quality, person-centered care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification valid in Pennsylvania
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
Strong interpersonal skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow facility policies and procedures

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an approved CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Proven skills in basic patient care and activities of daily living
Knowledge of infection control and safety practices
Experience taking and recording vital signs accurately
Good communication and teamwork skills
Basic charting and documentation skills; ability to follow care plans
