Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures including PVI, PPM implants, EPS, LHC, PCI, IR and neuro cases
• Prepare and maintain the cath lab environment and specialized equipment such as Philips and Siemens imaging systems
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging and monitoring equipment, including panning x-ray tables when required
• Monitor patient status during procedures and collaborate with the team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Document procedures and patient care accurately in the EMR systems (Meditech and MacLab)
• Mentor and educate junior staff and cross-train colleagues to strengthen unit capability

Qualifications

• Interventional cath lab experience required (minimum 1 year of relevant experience)
• ARRT certification required
• RCIS strongly required; experience with panning x-ray table expected
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced procedural environment and participating in on-call rotations
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and mentor newer staff

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with cardiac cath lab procedures: PVI, PPM, EPS, LHC, PCI, IR
• Familiarity with EP and neuro procedures is a plus
• Experience with Philips and Siemens imaging systems
• Proficiency with Meditech and MacLab electronic medical records
• Strong patient monitoring, sterile technique, and peri-procedural safety skills
• Good communication and teaching skills for mentoring staff
