Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and positioning to promote comfort and mobility
Maintain accurate documentation of care and communicate effectively with the care team
Support a clean, safe, and respectful environment for patients and families
Build trusting relationships with patients through respectful, patient-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania
Valid CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Demonstrated ability to provide safe patient care and follow care plans
Clear background check and required health screenings (e.g., TB, immunizations)
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first attitude
Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED required; completion of an approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of patient safety, infection control, and basic clinical procedures
Comfortable assisting with ADLs, feeding, hygiene, and mobility support
Ability to observe, document, and report clinical observations accurately
Strong interpersonal skills and a caring bedside manner
Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs during a shift
