Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients, ensuring safety and dignity at all times
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
- Monitor patient status and report changes to the care team promptly
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers while educating patients and families
- Maintain clear, concise electronic and paper documentation in accordance with facility policies
Qualifications
- Current LPN license or LPN diploma (or equivalent); ability to obtain New Hampshire licensure if not already licensed
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or must obtain upon hire
- Previous nursing experience in acute care, long-term care, or similar settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Education
- LPN diploma or equivalent (required)
- High school diploma or GED (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid fundamentals in patient assessment and basic nursing interventions
- Competence in medication administration and documentation
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate charting
- Good time management, prioritization, and teamwork skills
- Calm decision-making under pressure and strong clinical judgment
