Roles & Responsibilities

Greet and prepare ambulatory patients with warmth and professionalism
Obtain and document vitals and medical histories accurately
Assist clinicians with exams and routine procedures in an ambulatory setting
Maintain organized patient records and update the electronic health record
Coordinate patient flow to keep the clinic running smoothly and on time
Educate patients on basic aftercare and follow-up instructions with clarity

Qualifications

Medical Assistant certification or completion of an accredited MA program preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain during orientation)
Previous ambulatory or clinic experience is a plus
Strong communication and patient-service skills
Ability to perform basic clinical tasks (vitals, specimen collection, EHR entry)

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certificate or diploma preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable taking vitals and performing routine clinical procedures
Familiarity with electronic health record systems and basic documentation
Excellent patient communication and customer-service mindset
Basic infection control and safety practices in a clinical setting
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced ambulatory environment
