Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to assigned patients, monitoring condition and reporting changes promptly
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document all care in the patient record
- Collaborate with RNs, providers, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate excellent patient care
- Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings clearly to support treatment plans
- Support patient comfort and education — help patients and families understand care instructions
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control and facility policies
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Georgia (must be in good standing)
- Current basic life support (BLS) certification — or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Previous LPN experience preferred; new grads with strong clinical training are welcome to apply
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility immunization requirements
- Strong communication skills and a teamwork-oriented attitude
Education
- Vocational nursing diploma or equivalent LPN program completion
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
- Patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
- Accurate charting and clinical documentation (electronic charting experience a plus)
- Time management and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate bedside manner and effective communication with patients and families
