Shift Type: 12.5-hour shifts; specific start/end times and scheduled days to be provided by the facility (orientation included)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based behavioral health nursing care to patients
- Assess, monitor, and document patients’ mental health status and progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Use therapeutic communication and de-escalation techniques to support patient safety
- Participate in orientation, trainings, and unit-based meetings to maintain high-quality care
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience or interest in behavioral health nursing (preferred)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (RN required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Behavioral health assessment and care planning
- Crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
- Medication administration and monitoring
- Therapeutic communication with patients and families
- Electronic health record documentation
- Collaborative multidisciplinary team practice
