Licensed Practical Nurse

Location: Columbus, GA

Start Date: 04-02-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 12.5-hour shifts; specific start/end times and days to be confirmed (shift assignment TBD — day or night)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care within your LPN scope
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Perform routine patient assessments and report changes promptly
Document patient care clearly and timely in the electronic medical record
Collaborate with RNs, providers and the care team to support positive outcomes
Assist with procedures, wound care and patient education to promote recovery
Maintain infection control and safety standards on your shift

Qualifications

Current LPN license in Georgia or eligibility for licensure
Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Clinical experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Reliable, professional demeanor and commitment to patient safety

Education

Diploma or certificate from an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation accuracy
Patient assessment and basic clinical monitoring
Wound care and IV/blood draw support as appropriate to scope
Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting best practices
Time management and prioritization during 12.5-hour shifts
Patient education and family communication skills
