Roles & Responsibilities

• Circulate in cardiac cath lab cases, ensuring patient safety and procedural flow
• Provide moderate sedation support and monitor patients throughout procedures
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment (Philips/Siemens) during interventions
• Document procedures accurately using the Merge system and maintain compliance
• Collaborate with cardiology, EP and support teams during LHC, RHC, TAVR, TEER and other complex procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and prepare necessary supplies and equipment for each case
• Support advanced devices and modalities (ECMO, Impella, ICD/PPM, endovascular procedures) as directed
• Coach and reassure patients and families through the peri-procedural experience

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Cath Lab circulating experience and competency in moderate sedation (must have)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience (as listed in the posting)
• Experience with cardiac cath procedures (LHC, RHC, TAVR, TEER, EP) strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Merge documentation system is a plus
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and participate in call rotation

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with imaging systems (Philips and Siemens)
• Comfortable with cardiac catheterization lab workflows and instrumentation
• Skilled in procedural documentation and electronic charting (Merge)
• Understanding of advanced cardiac devices and percutaneous techniques
• Strong patient monitoring and moderate sedation skills
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and situational awareness in high-acuity settings
