Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures with precision and compassion
Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, ensuring safe and effective imaging
Position patients accurately and explain procedures clearly to reduce anxiety
Assess image quality and collaborate with radiologists to obtain diagnostic images
Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in the medical record system

Qualifications

Current state licensure or certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT certification preferred)
Completion of an accredited radiography program or equivalent training
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or obtained upon hire
Previous experience in a hospital or clinical radiology setting preferred
Strong patient care skills and excellent communication abilities

Education

Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited radiography program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with digital radiography systems and PACS workflow
Knowledge of radiation safety principles and infection control
Ability to follow physician orders and imaging protocols
Attention to detail for image quality and documentation
Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
