Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias with confidence
Deliver compassionate care to patients with CHF, respiratory conditions, diabetes, and post-cath needs
Collaborate with the care team on total joint replacement recovery journeys
Float to East Campus or PCU when needed to support patients across the system
Document assessments and interventions accurately in Cerner
Provide education and emotional support to patients and families during their stay

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Telemetry monitoring and basic dysrhythmia interpretation experience
Some exposure to CVA/TIA patients preferred
Cerner experience strongly recommended
Total joint replacement care experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Reading and signing basic tele strips each shift
Managing set-rate drips such as Diltiazem/Cardizem
Comfort with BiPAP, CPAP, and breathing treatments
Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
Ability to float and adapt to different units
